Fairwood Christian is a well-established preschool that has served thousands of families in the Renton/Kent/Maple Valley area for over forty years. Our excellent teaching staff is experienced and highly trained in caring for the needs of young children. Teachers utilize innovative methods to capitalize on a child’s natural curiosity, imagination, and creativity and use age-appropriate challenges to develop each child’s talents and abilities. Children will be acquiring the skills needed in the years ahead. We expect children to enjoy being kids—playing, learning, and laughing. We count it a privilege to be entrusted with the care of your children. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where parents feel involved, supported, and relaxed.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a safe, secure, quality preschool for our community. Since play is the work of a child, activities that appear as merely play to adults are essential to a child’s development. With these goals in mind, we place an emphasis on children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth. Each child learns at different stages and we encourage them where ever they are developmentally and will assist them in reaching their full potential.
